ManaLocal Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 September 2026

1. Marketplace role

ManaLocal is a local-services marketplace intended to help customers discover and request services from independent professionals. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, ManaLocal does not itself perform the on-site service. The professional is responsible for the work they accept and perform.

2. Professional responsibilities

3. Verification

“Verified Professional” means ManaLocal has completed its stated marketplace verification process. It is not a government certification, police clearance, statutory licence, insurance guarantee or guarantee of service quality.

4. Pricing and additional work

The displayed starting price and applicable ManaLocal fee are shown before booking. If additional work is required, the customer should approve the additional amount before it is added to the booking total.

5. Cancellation, disputes and refunds

Bookings may be cancelled or declined depending on status and circumstances. Customers can report service, billing, conduct, damage or safety concerns using the complaint flow. Refunds, if applicable, will depend on the booking/payment arrangement and the facts of the case; submitting a complaint does not automatically guarantee a refund.

6. Safety and regulated services

For emergencies, users must contact the appropriate emergency service first. Services requiring statutory licences, permissions or specialist qualifications must be performed only by appropriately qualified professionals. ManaLocal may restrict or remove categories or profiles where compliance cannot be reasonably established.

7. User conduct

No fraud, harassment, impersonation, unlawful activity, false reviews, abusive behaviour or misuse of customer/professional information is permitted. ManaLocal may suspend or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform.

8. Notifications

Transactional updates may be sent through channels for which the user has provided the necessary permission/consent and subject to applicable channel rules. Marketing messages, if introduced, will follow applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

9. Complaints

For support or complaints, contact manalocalconnect@gmail.com with your booking/complaint reference. Please do not email Aadhaar, PAN or other unnecessary sensitive documents.

10. Important

These terms are a practical product draft, not a substitute for legal advice. Before public commercial launch, the operator should have the final terms, privacy notice, tax/GST position, consumer/e-commerce obligations, contracts and regulated-service requirements reviewed by an Indian lawyer/CA as applicable.
